P-Syketalo offers accommodation and activities for 16 people.
The property is 1,100 square metres in total, and the resident are accommodated in 15 square meter rooms that have been fitted with a sprinkler system. A total of 500 square meters is shared by residents and staff (two living rooms on separate floors, 2 recreation rooms, 5 twin shower rooms). Outside there is a 120 square meter outbuilding and a 70 square meter stable.
The operations of P-Syketalo are flexible, cost-effective and efficient for our clients. P-Syketalo offers guidance and care services, with an emphasis on rehabilitation, for both men and women.
Residents live in homely, individually furnished rooms.
Safety
P-Syketalo is a stone house, built in 1930, which is located on a 2-hectare plot. It features a beautiful lake view. The house was renovated to provide suitable operational premises in 2007.
The staff are present around the clock in three shifts, with the night supervision effectively organised. Four members of the core team live upstairs in the same building.
P-Syketalo has emergency and safety plans that were approved by health, building, fire and emergency authorities at the end of 2007.
P-Syketalo complies with the current anti-smoking legislation (700/2006, which came into force on 1 June 2007). Smoking is absolutely forbidden inside the building.
P-Syketalo has an alarm system, smoke alarms and a fire extinguishing system. The dual alarm system is directly connected to the Central Finland Emergency Centre. The house also has recording security cameras, door alarms, an automatic fire extinguishing system, and plenty of portable fire extinguishing equipment.
